sunflowers

I've always loved Sunflowers since I was a child for several reasons: their beauty, their colors, the fact they're always in my memories linked to some special moments of my life. The legend behind them has always fascinated me: the Clizia who fell in love with Apollo was used to watch to his carriage flying in the sky all the day and after 9 days she was turned in that beautiful flower, as her love would be preserved for eternity. It's just a legend but I've always find it really touching and beautiful. And you may even guess my favourite picture, which is the Sunflowers by Vincent Van Gogh. And even my favourite poem (an italian one by Eugenio Montale) has sunflowers as main subjects ("Bring me the flower where the blond trasparences arise, and where the life vanishes away as essence, Bring me the sunflowers, gone mad for light" this is just a rough translation...)

Meiran has all my gratitude for letting me adopt this fanlisting, definetely a kill-one. The name Cheerful is probably the most suitable ever for Sunflowers, so I kept the original idea and used it as well as the previous onwer did.
