tactics
tactics is one of the few titles I've loved at first sight, since the
few first pages of the manga, which I came to adore. I can't really explain my love for this title, maybe it is for
Kantarou, who is adorable and at the same time creepy, with his childish
look put together with his maturity his smartness and his sensibility:
I've always considered him as a quite delicate character, alone in his
sadness and in his pain (because of his ability to communicate with youkai
and above all befriending them), but so shining thanks to his will, to
that strenght that cannot bee seen, but just felt, by him and by Haruka,
just by the two of them. I've loved Haruka for all his detached sorrow, by
the struggling caused by the fight between his feelings and his fury. I
was so moved as I was able to approach their developments throughout the
serie (both the anime than the manga), especially because although they
are so different, although they should keep their distances they still try
to coexist, to save each other (and especially Kantarou keeps such
feelings growing and let them become stronger and stronger), they are able
to text their own relationship as soon as Haruka gets some glimpse of his
past, of those memories deeply engraved in his heart. So, apart the
characters, I really think that what makes this story so great is the
beautiful, delicate and somehow romantic relationship between the two main
characters. I tend to consider the relationship between Kantarou and
Haruka as something different than mere romanticism or love, but could be
seen more as a bond between souls, as a deeper connection that goes beyond
feelings, discriminations and time itself.
This fanlisting was definetely one of my kill-for, probably the fanlisting I most wanted back wehn it was on my wishlist.
Pam really shocked me with her decision.
Fair tactician is a good name for the fanlisting since it quite reflects the main theme of the story, and so I kept it!
